  People need to accept being "cringe" is apart of life. I honestly believe it's why the anime fandom is in such a horrible spot, no one is wanting to be cringe and everyone wants to look like some sophisticated snob on social media....I Naruto ran, in cosplay, at conventions. We referred to each other by the characters we cosplayed, even out of cosplay just hanging out. We were in high school, having fun. The cringe was part of all of it. I'd kill to have that kind of community back.

  The part about cringe is very true. As an old millennial, our internet and “social media” was mostly filled with a few super supportive friends who wished us happy birthday on our timelines and congratulated us on graduating high school/university. The communal internet that we knew was so non-hostile. Meanwhile, Gen Z’s internet of algorithms and X is entirely a place of activation, judgment, and debate. They never knew the casual, unglamorous benevolence of social media that older people knew.

  Gen Alphas don&apos;t have enough vocab to truly insult anyone. Will they remember what they said? <br>Gen Alphas will continue to fool themselves. A generation of lazy fools that will ultimately contribute to the downfall of the free world. Hard fact.
