Though it was often told that John was the member of the Doors who was the least on Jim's wavelength, in the end it's turned out that John has been the truest to Jim's vision of the band. Good man, John!

Death makes angels of us all, it gives us wings where we once had shoulders smooth as Ravens claws. ....JDM /Poet

Densmore looks a lot like John Carpenter, the two of them making music together would be interesting.

So much respect for this man for staying true to what it was all about... Integrity should always be ready when called upon...Jim is so lucky to STILL have this man as a good friend even if Jim can't be friends with him...

The doors were magic together , each member brought excellence, power, emotion, they were the colors Jim used to paint the visions. I'm 74 , when I listen to their albums I feel amazing !

How he recognizes Jim's poetry is poetic within itself.
