  For me, the worst thing about Gen 8 was actively being told to not do any of the interesting stuff happening in the background and just focus on the gym challenge. Leon does everything off screen that you would have done in every other game in the series and the whole game is worse off for it.

  I didn&apos;t play Violet/Scarlet until I had a Switch 2, so my actual gripe with the game was that it was how they handled the open world. Every gym, team star raid, and arven mission are all available essentially from the start. It wasn&apos;t actually an issue for the team star or arven missions, but I definitely ended up doing the gym challenge out of order. Some gym leaders ended up being too high level, and some were too lower in level because I didn&apos;t know I was meant to take them on before. <br><br>With Z-A, my issue was getting swarmed with aggressive wild pokemon who would target the trainer instead of my pokemon.

  Diamond and Pearl have committed the biggest sin in all of Pokemon: locking many of the cool new evolutions to post game, and having a terribly unbalanced regional dex. The fact the BDSP repeated that 15 years later just makes me so angry because they could’ve just copied Platinum instead!

  The DLC reminds me of how Pokémon used to sell You 3rd versions at the same price as the Main games with little to no changes.

  My problem with Scarlet and Violet is that I just don&apos;t like the open world formula and implementation of the game. It feels actually empty and soulless to me.

  I feel like ive heard this same script before...<br><br>EDIT: GUYS I FOUND THE OG VIDEO POSTED 8 MONTHS AGO!! &quot;Analyizing the biggest Problem in every Pokemon Game&quot; I KNEW THIS SCRIPT SOUNDED TOO FAMILIAR AND I JUST WATCHED THE OTHER VIDEO AND ITS TOO SIMILAR. They changed up a couple of words but for the most part its the same

  For gen 2, there were no Victory Road trainers, so the 10 level curve from Clair to E4, paired with trash underleveled mons from Victory Road, made the grind even more grueling.

  A huge issue with all these games, especially with the remakes, is the missed opportunity to implement actual Hard modes that are meant for adult players. Zelda started to implement such features since 2011 and it feels refreshing. Pokémon simply never does that and you always end up steamrolling through 95% of these games with ease. It&apos;s so boring.
