  Fomantis and Lurantis are not bug type ON PURPOSE. They took the idea of bugs commonly mimicking plants in the real world and flipped it so it would be a plant Pokémon mimicking a bug. This is why they’re called Fomantis (faux-mantis) and Lurantis (lure-mantis)

  Cottonee and Whimsicott are the ONLY Fairy types in gen 5. So when we get the remakes and you want a fairy-type, they are the only option.

  Koraidon and Miraidon&apos;s naming scheme is actually explained by a postgame event in the Indigo Disk<br><br><b>***</b> spoilers for Indigo Disk <b>**</b><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>When you meet the past versions of the professors, they originally call the legendaries &quot;Winged King&quot; and &nbsp;&quot;Iron Serpent&quot; respectively. &nbsp;It&apos;s implied the reason they renamed them to &quot;Koraidon&quot; and &quot;Miraidon&quot; is because WE THE PLAYER told them those names. &nbsp;<br><br>But we learned those names from Arven, who learned it from the Professor, who seemingly learned it from us in the future. &nbsp;Meaning the names THEMSELVES are a time travel paradox.

  Fun fact: Weedle actually CAN learn two Normal type moves, only in Pokémon Go, where it can learn Return and Frustration. All Pokémon available as shadow Pokémon can know them, actually.
