  Many people are super introverted either they were bullied when they younger or were in super isolated and complex social situations and because of this they lack the most basic of social skills like talking to a shopkeeper or ordering something in public <br><br>For them vague advice is not really the best but I truly like this video but I feel it&apos;s for people who have basic social skills and people skills<br><br>For those who don&apos;t have such skills <br><br>Here is a list <br><br>1. Don&apos;t bad mouth colleagues for things they do, tolerate it if it&apos;s minor or if its not talk to them diplomatically and handle it <br><br>2. Don&apos;t overshare or undershare , you don&apos;t want to be on either extreme <br><br>3. Don&apos;t show fear , wolves don&apos;t play nice with deer <br><br>And ya that&apos;s about it and oh ya one more thing <br><br>Everyone who smiles at you is not a friend and everyone who criticizes you is not an enemy

  Regarding helping a newbie. Recently, an employee out of nowhere just mentioned my name and said, &quot;XYZ was the first person who spoke to me when I entered this office and took my seat, made me feel comfortable&quot;. This was a girl who said this...and, I was like totally surprised that small gesture of mine meant so much to this person. So, I totally agree with your point. <br><br>Also, the point reg showing gratitude and thanking someone for their help, however little/small. Ofcourse, as humans we all love to be appreciated. Saying thank you doesn&apos;t cost a thing, but goes a long way in building strong bonds - I&apos;m saying this from experience.<br><br>Once again, great video maam.

  What if a person is introvert he enjoys his self involvement and not with interaction of others in corporate.

  How to find out if a company/team has toxic culture at the time of interview? They may smile and say all things like &quot;Oh we very well appreciate people coming to us with their concerns. We 100% believe in growth of our employees. We are not like other companies, here we trust each other.&quot; Let&apos;s say there are reviews that are generally positive from employees in ambitionbox, glassdoor. Still you don&apos;t know how the team managers will be.

  I tried to follow many of these ideas. Like- trying to introduce, sharing lunch, but what I received is passive aggressive behaviour in the name of boundary settings. Even instructed to have my lunch when the lunch table gonna free. Otherwise their privacy might get hamper.
