  Está belíssima canção me leva ao passado, a minha juventude na década de 60. Eu, ao lado do meu cachorrinho ouvíamos na varanda da casa no interior do Brazil! Boas lembranças, muitos sonhos e, agora, muitas saudades! Obrigado Elvis por ter vivido e nos ter dado tantas alegrias. Agora eu aqui em São Paulo Setembro/2026 ouvindo esta obra prima pela milésima vez! ❤❤❤

  In 1959 , Elvis rode in to a small Restaurant on a Harley with 2 more riders . In a small town &nbsp;Odonville, Alabama. My dad and mom , me and my Sister were eating. I was only 8 , but my mom and dad knew exactly who he was .He paid for our dinner and talk with my dad as if just a normal thing . Never forgot that. He was a very sweet caring man .

  I saw him in 1973, he performed this song that evening.... as I remember that ticket cost me $20 ... possibly the best $20 I ever spent.

  My 10 year old daughter heard this song this morning for the first time on the radio by Simon &amp; Garfunkel. She likes it she told me, no emotions shown. I told that I would show her Elvis his version. I just did. The funny thing is that just 2 seconds after Elvis sets in at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLbOBoa8vD8&amp;t=19">0:19</a>, I saw tears showing up in her eyes. She curled up to me and there we were, both crying over by far the best version of this song.....

  My mum spent her final hours of life listening to Elvis sing, &nbsp; it was such a &nbsp;comfort to her. &nbsp; God Bless xx

  No vocal training, no real instrument training, no auto tune or ear piece, he picked out his musicians &amp; backup singers, he never wrote songs yet arranged them, never had highly paid arrangers for his shows, He was the show, one man, one voice there to make his audience happy and provide a brief escape from their troubles. RIP!
