  I finally got new glasses 🤓 <br>I had an epiphany when it occurred to me that 95% of my waking hours included the wearing of glasses. And just like the wise money spent on a mattress for sleep, I figured if that much time included eyewear, then I wanted that choice to be intentional.<br>I finally ditched the “safe” and boring metal rectangles that made me look like everyone and nobody simultaneously.<br>Spend some time looking at frames. How they’re made. Appreciation for craftsmanship just like leather goods and watches.<br>Navy tortoise Matsuda, hand made Japanese acetates. Now I feel like I’m wearing glasses on purpose, because I like them. Not because I have to

  1. I have a bigger Seiko, but it&apos;s not overly huge, but I do need to get a slimmer one, as well. <br>2. I wear white sneakers (Bruno Marc) often, but you have moved me to to loafers and boots. <br>3. Per your advice, I&apos;m building my belt arsenal, but I get Mission belts that work on the same principle as the Anson belts.<br>4. My readers are pretty basic and classic, though I have a couple pairs of Clic readers.<br>5. My wardrobe has very few logos.<br>6. John, you made me really focus on fit, and I look better in clothes than I have since I was in my 20s. <br>7. Wedding ring and watch. &nbsp;That&apos;s about it. &nbsp;I do have a bracelet I wear occasionally on casual occasions.<br> 8. This is the area where my fashion sense needs to improve--incorporating everything into a unit.<br><br>John, you&apos;ve made the biggest impact on my style. &nbsp;Before watching your videos, I was a fashion mess. &nbsp;Still not where it needs to be, but it&apos;s improving all the time. &nbsp;Thank you for your content and expertise!

  I’ve had a square watch for almost twenty years now! &nbsp;It was a gift from my late mother-in-law. Not a high brand, but a classic look that I wear a couple of times a week.

  Great video, John. You are right, square watches ( tank) are having a moment this year. Although, the big watch is also coming back. I&apos;m a watch guy and have been since I was a teenager. There is one rule I follow: Know you watch to wardrobe relevance. Don&apos;t wear a dive watch with a shirt and tie ( yes....even if it&apos;s a Rolex). A dress watch or a GADA watch is what you should go for, something with a leather strap, which makes a watch more dressy. A metal bracelet is more casual. But ultimately, all rules were meant to be broken. Do you. 🤷🏻😂

  One exception to the stacked-bracelet rule for me is that I&apos;m wearing several F Cancer bracelets for a family member going through it. I&apos;m one of the support team and will keep it up until he kicks its ass. Otherwise, I&apos;m generally a modest jewelry wearer.

  Longines makes very fine square Tank &nbsp;type of watches for a good price Cartier made their tank in 1917. Longines NEVER copied Cartier . They made a Tank watch first!<br>Longines has a movement in their museum from 1916 and had made them since before 1910. Teddy Baldesarre mentions some of that. I saw the movement in the museum myself and I have studied Longines history for years now and I have been through their catalog for the whole almost 200 years they have been in business. Longines is pure understated class and highly respected it<br>I don&apos;t really wear sneakers <br>I always make sure all my clothes go to the tailor . Fit is King. I wear my family crest signet rings. I inherited most in platinum, gold and silver. My sons wear them on their pinky my daughters wear on middle finger. Tradition is why.
