  This was when these guys were three, macho, mans mans actors. &nbsp;They did this without a laugh, with serious intent, and respect. &nbsp;I love that.

  Honestly, I’m happiest that none of the actors turned their backs on their performances in this movie. Specifically Wesley, who went on to be a real tough badass in Blade and such. It never changed their masculinity nor did their roles bring them shame or regret. It’s really wonderful.

  my dad showed this movie to me when i was in high school and while i wasnt out to him, i felt like his like of the movie and wanting to show it to me was such nice understated acceptance

  I love how Ms. Carol Ann dyed her wedding dress, transforming herself into the Red Queen. &nbsp;It was so symbolic.

  I&apos;m a 62 yr old black woman and watched this when it first came out in the 90s. I loved it then and it is still a good message for today. The world just needs stop judging others, just love. I loved this for you...loved seeing your reactions. Your tears said it all...know you been through some stuff y&apos;all ❤.

  Fun fact - Julie Newmar wasn&apos;t originally part of the movie, though she did know about it and gave her blessing. She showed up one day to the set to watch them film and that&apos;s when they decided to give her a cameo in the movie. <br><br>Fun fact two - There was a scene that was scrapped from the film where the three ladies visit a McDonalds - and they cut it after McDonald&apos;s objected to it. They did not want to be part of a drag queen movie - Coca Cola had no problem however and agreed to a product placement deal. This is how the &quot;Love that Chi Chi&quot; scene came to be.

  Robin Williams was always an ally. He helped out Nathan Lane when Oprah was trying to force him to come out on her show Robin made sure to take the attention off Nathan. I saw an interview where Nathan Lane said it was one of the kindest things anyone ever did for him.

  As a closeted young gay boy I watched this when it came out and I looked up to all of these characters. Finally after years of hiding I got the strength to come out. This is such good memories ❤❤❤❤❤❤
