I grew up Catholic. After leaving the Catholic Church, I was a Southern Baptist for 10 years. I did not know or understand what the LCMS was until I met an LCMS member at a homeschooling coop. After many chats with her and confessing my issues I had with both Catholicism and Baptist, she encouraged me to try an LCMS church. My husband was raised Methodist and left due to their woke ideology. We were not good Southern Baptists according to everyone around us. We question to many things they didnt do. Once we started visiting our local LCMS church, something clicked. We prayed for the Lord to lead us. He did and we went through adult confirmation and have not looked back. We are joyfully Lutheran along with all our children but our eldest who is an adult. I am praying that we keep President Harrison. I do not want anything to do with evangelical worship and want things to stay liturgical. God's will be done for our synod.

This is by far the best interaction I've seen with President Harrison. Praise God for the joy he has in the gospel and objective work of Christ.

20:52 I’m a young man (24) with a baby on the way and I’ve been “Christian” for awhile but finally accepted that the Lutheran Confessions are the most faithful to the Bible and am in the process of being baptized and confirmed in my local LCMS church, as a catechumen I’m staying out of the elections (like to hear the candidates but not going to voice who I’d prefer) but being the light of masculinity for my generation is kinda what brought me to the LCMS, especially how everything is a vocation and ties to everything you do, and that you should be glad to be a husband, a father, a brother and a son, and what that truly means to be a good man and fear God and eschew evil.

I am so encouraged to hear that the Order of Service and need for Confession, Absolution and The Lord's Supper is important to President Harrison! ! I have just moved to the Houston area and had to go to extreme lengths to avoid LCMS churches that did not adhere to the above.
Out of the 10 churches I investigated by listening online to their Sunday service, only 4 out of 10 were true Confessional Lutheran Churches.
I have been a Lutheran for 14 years now and as the years went by I became more blessed as I understood the beauty of the (ordo) as you call it. I will continue to pray for the churches who are missing this richness. To God be the GLORY!!

We either are who we are or we aren't. I've very glad to hear that from our President.

The 1517 network and all those people there do an outstanding job with the media sphere for Lutheranism and the LCMS

This was a great interview. Thank you and God bless you. I have been a Lutheran my whole life. It has not been without difficulties and other denominations trying to have me join them but the Holy Spirit has kept me LCMS. The liturgy and preaching the gospel has always been what has kept my wife and I in LCMS. Not based on feelings which come and go in our lives. I was at Concordia in Ann Arbor when Seminex had occurred.

May God bless our synod. I'm grateful that the third ballot has increased interest and conversation in the larger synod. I mourn for transgressions in communication, but it will happen if more people will talk. "When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent." pvb 10:19
