  Here's the thing about Lee J. Cobb's performance (Juror #3, the one with the son). His rage is so overwhelming, it's easy to dismiss him as a one-dimensional loudmouth bully. But if you watch carefully, Cobb also shows insecurity, love, humor, warmth, shame, intelligence, fear... It's all there, just measured out very subtly and precisely. A one-man acting masterclass.

  The last angry man said &quot;Not guilty&quot; twice -- as if forgiving his son too. <br>My favorite part is Henry Fonda&apos;s character putting the coat on the last angry man&apos;s shoulders. Such an honorable, kind gesture.

  This movie proves. You don’t need a fancy set, you don’t need fancy CGI. All you need is a single room, some good actors, and a well written script.

  Rewatching 12 Angry Men right after Rear Window - I was struck by how significant the symbolic role of stifling heat plays. &nbsp;How it affects the psychological boiling happening in both movies. The way it&apos;s so palpable. Absolutely masterful work.

  Now you as younger people understand why this movie is 100% on rotten tomatoes. &nbsp;This movie is often used in film and acting schools as a masterclass in filming and acting, and it all took place in one room. If you love movies you need to expend your viewing to movies &nbsp;that are from a classical time, like from the 1930-1960&apos;s

  If you notice each guy&apos;s occupation (architect, HS football coach, watch maker, etc) it&apos;s illustrative of how they approach the case.

  This is literally a flawless film--wonderfully written and the script is airtight. &nbsp;The performances are perfectly acted, and the film is perfectly directed.

  The thing with 12 Angry Men is that before watching it you know it’s gonna be great but say “surely this isn’t the best movie ever” and then you watch it and it’s indeed the best movie ever
