  You can overpanel with any power station... It&apos;s like plugging your phone to a 100W charger; it doesn&apos;t mean it will charge at 100W, it will only take what it needs/can. As long as you don&apos;t go over the maximum voltage, it&apos;s fine. If there is a power station out there that can&apos;t limit its amperage intake, that is honestly a fire hazard and shouldn&apos;t be sold anyway.

  Just gotta be sure to make it super clear to those that are newer to solar and batteries; you CAN go over on the amps, but you can NOT go over on the volts. If you exceed the max voltage, it will damage the power station. If you go over on the amps, it will just limit it down and you&apos;ll get a few less watts in.

  FYI: If you know the wattage the battery bank will take and the voltage of the panel, you can calculate it easily. <br><br>Watts = Volts x Amps. For example, 12 volts at 10 amps is 120 watts. <br><br>To get the amps, you’ll be dividing rather than multiplying- if you know you are producing 120 watts at 12 volts, then 120 divided by 12 will give you the 10 amps you need to know.

  You can have unlimited amps available, it won&apos;t ever hurt anything. Excessive voltage will cause irreversible damage. Watts are the volts x Amps. It does not matter either, as long as you have enough to do what you need to do

  This is exactly why I still only use inverters. I&apos;ve used lead-acid for over 40 years now with various types of charging including solar, hydro and wind. The solar just requires an inexpensive solar charge controller.

  One thing you didn&apos;t mention is that the solar MPPT will have a startup voltage which some smaller panels can&apos;t overcome unless it&apos;s full sun. As an example I have a little 50W 12V panel (with a 21.6V VOC) and I have 2 powers stations, one that is rated 10-30V and one 12-60V. When my cable came to plug it in it was a cloudy day and I couldn&apos;t get my panel to charge the larger station and I thought my cable was DOA... but plugged it in to the smaller station and bingo, 7-12 watts popping around as the cloud cover was changing. It just needed to get a higher voltage to kick in on the higher station. I ended up ordering 2 100 watt panels that each in a single can plug in to either station and I can put 2 in series on the larger station so that even in very terrible conditions the voltage will get high enough to scrounge up a couple watts.

  When i was a Noob i bought a very expensive Jackery Explorer 2000 Pro with two Solar Saga 200...<br>But today i have a priceworthy Aferiy P310 with almost double the capacity and half the price!<br>Even some no name flexible Solarpanel where 2 costed less than a third of one Solar Saga back then with complete same wattage output xD
