Nothing to celebrate. As a simple Malaysian, I want peace, stability, livability, safe, clean, harmony and a happy home.

What do you mean 'celebrating'? We still have a long way to go, a long journey to walk on. No time to celebrate, it's always time to work harder.

We Malaysians tend to tone down our celebrations and tend to apply the "don't count your chicks before they're hatched" mentality ever so often, coz we know everything lies in the balance. One tilt of the balance will have significant consequences to the country's political eco system.🙏

I don't think it is even close to something worth celebrating, yet. I know my country has grown by leaps and bounds, but when you look at the larger picture, we are but a speck of dust in the wind. But I don't think that's a bad thing. It stops us from having too large an ego, and do things that we might regret later. Keep forging the path forwards, Malaysia.

As Malaysian i wait and see how future unfold rather than celebrate things that does not happen yet.

In the nutshell, no matter how advance your country is, but you not getting richer and the basic salary number are still the same while the prices of goods are increasing. What to celebrate about? The one who controls the governmental things are the one who getting richer. Not the ordinary people who live in that country. What to celebrate about?

Malaysians don't need to celebrate. There are many more things to improve. We are still not the best in everything. Unity is our strength to continue to progress.

Lots of Malaysian, especially the younger generation is very well versed in geopolitics. They know their place in the world pecking order, they understand the growing influence of wealth and soft power their nation have won't really translate to their better standard of living anytime soon, and it can be taken away rather easily by greater power on the global chessboard.
