  justice for those animals for REAL those rats are still making me sad… ALSO ABOUT THE JACKASS THING: our conversation got cut in a weird way.   As someone who has a crested gecko and worries over him daily, seeing nearly EVERY gecko in that tank with their tails dropped off is especially miserable. I can only imagine how terrifying it must be to suddenly be dropped from a great height onto a flailing giant, one that doesn&apos;t even begin to consider that these &quot;scary&quot; creatures can feel fear and pain, without ever knowing why.

  I know you were semi-joking, but yeah, this very much is animal cruelty. Just as one example, crested geckos are known for dropping their tails when they get spooked. They sometimes grow it back, though usually not like it was, and it’s extremely taxing on their body. All of these animals could easily have been hurt or killed, and for what?! It’s pretty distgusting, honestly.

  When I saw them drop the crickets I was upset because it just felt like unnecessary risk to their safety, but when I saw them drop the rats my jaw dropped. They are much more likely to be injured from a fall like that. This show should have never been allowed to film. I’m actually disgusted.

  I knew someone IRL who was legitimately terrified of mayonnaise. Apparently in some places it&apos;s used to treat lice infestations, and the childhood experience of having her head slathered in mayonnaise in the middle of the summer heat was so deeply upsetting that it gave her a mayonnaise phobia.

  This just kinda sucks because its just lowkey animal abuse. Those geckos are fragile and it would be really easy for them tyo get super hurt or drop their tails in a situation like this. The larger animals are less of an issue, but it still isn&apos;t cool to do that to snakes, rats, and birds who have no idea whats going on
