  I’m a practicing Buddhist from Asia and when I was studying Western philosophy in Uni, the only person that really spoke to me was Baruch Spinoza.

  Baruch Spinoza, where have you been all my life? At the age of 76 I am finally beginning to realize that whatI have believed most of my life actually has truth and isn't some evil, anti-spiritual conspiracy theory dreamed up by a coven of devil worshippers, as my Christian friends would have me believe. Thank you so much for helping to enlighten me! I shall continue to seek out Spinoza's theories.

  Reading Deleuze's "Spinoza: Practical Philosophy" was one of the most mind bending experiences ever reading something. Some parts are very understandable but you can feel your brain being crushed and stretched and remolded at a powerful new framework to view the world. I really think he was the epitome of the "think through" philosophy, once you understand you can really never go back

  Fantastic job on sharing Spinoza’s remarkable philosophy!.. thank you!! Some of my favorite points from the video:<br><br>Giles Deleuze: “Consciousness is only a dream with one’s eyes open.”<br><br>Spinoza says that just relying on feelings and affects is basically a state of slavery because we’re pushed around by them, not understanding and choosing for ourselves.<br><br>“A person who sees the necessity of things regards their passage with calm and composure.”<br><br>You simplified things beautifully when you said “Reflect on the causes of things.”

  Amazing how Spinoza spent his entire life on this concept and we have it at the free range of our fingertips; further more, the person creating this video and breaking it down to a more understandable concept, is truly luxurious. Thank you so much for your video!

  Having first watched this when it first came out, going down the rabbit hole, and now coming back to it a couple years later, this video truly changed parts of how I think and interact with the world. Amazing piece of work

  When I found out about Spinoza, I felt a huge relief. It&apos;s nice to know that I&apos;m not the only one who idolizes such a mindset. What a beautiful way to see the world. Absolutely incredible job on this video.
