  I don&apos;t even know if it counts as them not doing their jobs. It&apos;s become weirdly normal for companies to take 6-7 years per game, and they always seem to only work on one at a time outside of minor pre-production. <br><br>But thats kinda why i still respect obsidian, and haven&apos;t fully written them off.<br>None of their games have been awful. Not great either mind you. But actually managing to start and finish multiple projects that run well, are mechanically sound and have a reasonable budget in the current era is sadly commendable. Even if they are all described as just okay. <br><br>Hopefully they find their groove in the writing department again, because that&apos;s<br>al that is standing between them and good games. It really feels like they gave up on writing after deadfire failed for unrelated reasons.

  As someone who has lots of hours in f76, I agree it could be doing way better.<br>Though, I wouldn&apos;t be surprised if its making bank from fallout 1st compared to how few people actively play it.
