Martin called it the Jordan boy's legacy. Is that Parallax, or are we reading too much into a key and a note? Get your call in before the finale.

John wills the fear energy into a ring. Maybe temporarily taking a yellow ring and since his messed up past actually overcomes that fear and forces it out making his own green ring

Anyone else notice how the dead planet is yellow?

I would absolutely love for Noah being the child of Antaan and Zoe and him being Atrocitus.

Biggest unanswered question. What was Hal doing on that planet?

I do not think Parallax is going to be an actual living being in this version of the story. It would completely undermine the story they're trying to tell about generational trauma, toxic masculinity, etc.<br><br>If we even hear the word Parallax stated, I think it will be the name of the fear gas.

I think Hal Jordan is actually working with Sinestro, if not outright leading him.<br><br>Hal found out the true face of the Guardians. They are basically genocidal maniacs operating without any real rules or accountability, making decisions that could wipe out an entire planet without facing any repercussions. Hal wanted that to end, and Sinestro saw the same thing too.<br><br>Now, to execute his plan, I think Hal is recruiting John Stewart in a very specific way. He wants John to reject the traditional Green Lantern ring and see the actual reality and scope of willpower, instead of simply accepting what the Guardians have taught the Green Lanterns.<br><br>I also think the deceased Hal Jordan in Rushville was actually killed by Kerry, with Hal's guidance, just to prove that Noah is indeed a Manhunter and that he could revive Hal from the dead. Some would say that's extreme, but Hal would probably disagree by simply saying, "He's never wrong."<br><br>So I think there is a much bigger plan here. Hal is going to use the last Manhunter, one that the Guardians perhaps don't even know about, along with John Stewart as a Lantern, to wage war against the Guardians.<br><br>At least, that's where I think all of this is heading.

I’ve been saying since ep. 3 that there is a LOT of fear going around in the show. <br><br>Not only that, but there is sooooo much yellow in many, and I mean MANY, of the scenes throughout the season. <br><br>Maybe I’m reading too much into the cinematography, but I don’t think so.

You were proposing that disclosure of the broader scope of these phenomena would create an ontological crisis for people which would lead to a shift in consciousness. However, you are not taking into account that many people would just think it's all bullshit. They don't care if the government confirms it. As a matter of fact, they would become more suspicious of the truth of it if it was the government or governments in general which put the rubber stamp on it. Think about it for a second. When most people hear phenomena describe to them, like cigarette smoking dogs, shapeshifting aliens, orbs that vaporize animals, and they don't see them for themselves, they think it's bullshit. That does not create an ontological crisis. An ontological shock is created when someone experiences it for themselves. So information, in order for a shift in Consciousness to occur, people have to experience these things for themselves, not just be told by a reliable source that they are true.
