  I literally got my gecko today and it’s already decided to squeeze itself in between my arm, chirp, then fall asleep. And he’s doing it right now

  Our Gecko thinks he&apos;s parrot. He goes straight on to our shoulders and occasionally on our face if we lie down!

  I got my gecko about 2 months ago and I was getting worried that he was never going to get better because he would run so fast anytime I got any where near him. Now he’s so much better<br>First thing I started off with was putting my hand in the tank for it at least 10 minutes a day<br>As he got more comfortable he would walk on my hand and then walk off<br>Then he soon started to climb on my hand every time I put my hand in the tank <br>Soon after he let me pick him up<br>Once he was comfortable with me picking him warm up in my sleeves<br>He still gets spooked by sudden sounds or sudden movements but he trust me.<br>I was able to get him like this within a 1 to 3 week period <br>Some geckos scream some geckos hiss some bite it all depends on your gecko and you have to take time because it’s not something you can rush into. I recommend leaving your hand in the tank for a couple minutes a day, and padding their head or chin, but the best thing I recommend is just picking them up and letting them sit in your hand so they realize that they’re not gonna get hurt if they’re around you

  leaving my hand in the tank seems to actually work ok for getting my gecko out, but it takes forever lol I&apos;m on month 3 of having my gecko, but I think I&apos;m going to try scooping him out and seeing what he does
