How to HANDLE/TAME your LEOPARD GECKO!

  I handle my Leopard Gecko Doss every other day usually, e have a pretty good bond. In the morning when his heat turns on and is warming up. I&apos;ll typically scoop him up and place him on my shoulder. That way he can absorb my body heat while I go to make myself a cup of coffee and sit in the recliner.<br>Once Doss starts to roam a bit I know he&apos;s warmed up and I&apos;ll go check on his temps and return him to his tank.<br><br>I also enjoy putting him in a sling (like the ones for bearded dragons and chilling with him while I watch a movie or something like that. This allows him to stay warm but it&apos;s also dark and cozy. &nbsp;I occasionally buy treats for him and my crested gecko Smaug.<br><br>DossIs a little over a year old now and we have very deep trust. He always looks at me and if he hears me moving the drawers to my meal worm colony he&apos;ll sometimes approach the glass and let me know he wants to be fed. Usually I feed him mealworms and dubias. He doesn&apos;t care for crickets or super worms. For a treat I tend to give him horn worm and very occasionally wax worms, however I never feed those by themselves.

  This is the best video out there. You&apos;re actually speaking for the leopard geckos. This is an amazing &nbsp;video. This is why I&apos;ve subscribed and followed you. You actually know your reptiles and the ideas you have are really good. People will soon realise this and hell where have been we need more people like you on this &nbsp;platform. I have a scared gecko (who I rescued) I will be trying this and comment again thank you again <br><br>And Bertha is a beauty 😍 &nbsp;you&apos;ve done well with her ❤

  This has a lot of ideas for socializing that I haven’t seen in other videos. I’m going to be getting a leopard gecko next month so I’m going to give all these a try! Thanks for the vid.

  My gecko is around 1 year and she comes to me and licks my hand but sometimes she still just running away and seeking a safe spot I have her since a little baby and she was super shy and scared at first so I gave her alot of space but now I really want to work with her but its a long proces and I feel like im walking against a wall

  You said they were nocturnal they are actually crepuscular meaning they are more awake at dawn and dusk

  My leopard gecko bit me once, and I know it doesn&apos;t hurt but I&apos;m still kind of scared of getting bitten. The problem is that he always thinks my hand is food, bc he wants to bite my finger if I stick it in the vivarium, but at the same time he&apos;s not scared of me at all🥲
