  You&apos;re doing good. Always remember to keep spare pickaxe and hammer or you might have to go back to panning/search for nuggets. Also, you should try search for bees. They give you both honey and beeswax. Honey is used to make jams from fruits and berries. Beeswax is used to seal crocks for winter to preserve food, and also used later in leatherworking (very late game) and making a recurve bow or something. You could start your berry farm and fruit tree orchard, because those take now time. Take cuttings from the bushes and trees (never destroy the original bush/tree) and plant them. Trees take time and they might not ever survive (40% survival change), and berry bush cuttings need time (several in game months) to grow into mature plants before they start producing fruit. <br><br>I finally managed to make my first patch of steel in my forever world. Very long process, but worth it. I was so happy to find the backup save file in my external drive, because I thought I lost it, when my pc crashed couple months ago.

  If you use a knife on the baskets you can turn them back into reeds!

  I like to use firewood first to 700°, then some peat and after 900° I finish it with charcoal. Which is total micromanaging, but the game is so immersive, I find myself conserving hard earned resources. Totally enjoying your let&apos;s play. Please keep making videos and I&apos;ll keep hitting like and watching.
