This show helped me survive 15 years in IT with some of my sanity intact. People often try to tell me "Oh i love nerdy characters, I watch the Big Bang Theory!" I then gently but firmly correct them and suggest if the want to know what REAL super nerds/IT people are like, watch The IT Crowd. So much better in every way.

I went to many recordings at Pinewood Studios to watch "The IT Crowd" being filmed.

That is a real audience in the background sitting between 3-4 hrs watching the show performed live & the cast was always on top form. Happy memories 🥰

The fact that the female lead is named Jen is just icing on the cake. It's like this show is made for you. Definitely watch the rest!

My boyfriend who passed away absolutely loved this show. I could never get him at all into the Big Bang Theory, but this one was his gem.

When Judy sees Roy on the streets it is a reference to the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

"The Haunting of Bill Krausse" was a pun on "The Haunting of Hill House"

One bit of trivia, the bit when moss and Roy go to the stress seminar/talk and going through the gaps of the chairs and sitting and moss moving his chair and hitting Roy's fingers is tribute/homage to Laurel and Hardy's film sons of the desert where they did the same thing at the start of the film. Worth watching if you haven't seen it
