I love this for them. They can experience Earth physics from a luxurious place. What a great way to learn about the things they apparently missed in their private educations. <br>What a wonderful opportunity to take in some “real news”. They can really grasp global warming this way. Maybe the only way they would be open to learning about it.

Taxpayers have no business having to help pay for mansions built on sand, that are sinking.<br>95 million dollars for a mansion because of the beautiful view, is disgusting.

The government is right! We, the people should not need to pay for any of the badly made choices of people who do not use their brains when they refuse to think! Any person making a decision without thinking it through from every angle is a fool and must pay the price themselves.

Wait…. I have lived on the water with a seawall since 1978 and 10 years on Singer island, and never not once have any of my seawalls been breached. Walls need maintenance or they will fail. STOP with the gaslighting

If I correctly sense a tilt in favor of public money paying for wall reconstruction, I have this to say: take a hike.<br>Those owners have the funds, they can pay up. Most Floridians can't afford to live SFR oceanfront. The State and the Feds rightly prohibit public funding of private seawall expenditures. The owners can bloody well fund their own lifestyles. <br>Try walking on their beachfronts above the mean high water mark sometime; see what reaction you get.
