  Having run fiendish vigor on a melee warlock from lvl 4 to 11, I can confidently say it’s a game changer that stayed relevant through the entire campaign.

  Re: Darkness - You can always try to convince your DM that magical darkness has to literally block external sources of light from passing information through it, because if not, instead of the area being dark it would just make things inside the area invisible.

This means if your party gets trapped often, or you often have to give up your weapons to get into places, you will always have access to your weapon to do things like cut ropes, bludgeon locks, defend yourself, or hammer in pitons. <br><br>I don&apos;t think this would push it out of &quot;specific scenes&quot;, but its good to think about the usefulness of always having a weapon/knife/hammer
