Thanks for the video, the steampunk is mind blowing! 🤔 In the book, ‘The Boat Who Wouldn’t Float’ by Farley Mowat, there’s a scene where the boat he was attempting to refurbish exited the harbour backwards under sail while the single cyclinder diesel dragged the boat right out, while onlookers were nonplussed.<br><br>@<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0s5APEuj0U&t=90">1:30</a> There’s a boat portrayed as steaming backwards during the jubilee.

Thanks for the engineering history lesson. Steam power may be outdated in the modern day but it layed the groundwork for more advanced machines and still deserves some credit. It is sad how much good technology is stemmed by either conservatives or greedy monopolists.<br>P.S. Steampower is still very useful in industry and other static machines and can be used to reclaim energy from waste heat.

This an excellent and very informative video, however, about 5% of the video has ridiculous elements in it. I would recommend slowing down the cadence of video production and doing more quality control.
