  Think my favourite obscure animal is the Margay. &nbsp;A small cat that hunts monkeys <b>in the trees</b> by mimicking the cries of a baby monkey then ambushing any adults that come to investigate. &nbsp;It can also turn it&apos;s paws 180 degrees so it&apos;s just as good going down or across a tree as it is going up. &nbsp;It also looks like an Ocelot that&apos;s forever stuck as a kitten so it&apos;s adorable to look at.

  Fun fact about Harpy Eagles, they are completely fearless around humans, it’s to the point people can walk up wild ones and the birds are completely unbothered, they barely acknowledge your existence. Unfortunately that makes them pretty easy to hunt, it’s pretty easy to kill a big target that doesn’t immediately recognizes danger and probably thinks you’re pretty chill too. Large wild predatory animals that aren’t bothered by people and can sometimes be pretty sweet with us but terrorize other animals just fascinates me like the Harpy Eagle, Shoebill Stork, or Orcas.

  Fun fact: some indigenous legends say that the harpy eagle also eats children, which I wouldn&apos;t doubt considering they certainly have the size for it and at a distance a child might look similar to a small monkey.
