I'm 63 years old. This song has so many memories for me. Some good, some bad. But mostly it reminds me that I wasted so much time. On things that didn't really matter. Instead of the important things ... Don't waste your time on things or people that are going nowhere for you... Because you have precious little of it on this earth.... And I am going to miss this life when it's gone......

There is something hypnotic about the original version that can't be duplicated

Her covering Mazzy Star really made me respect her a lot! Hope Sandoval is unreachable in her deliverance and style, but this is also beautiful.

Kelly internalized the lyrics and made it her own. That is the essence of being a singer. Enough said!

I love this version. Am I alone in my appreciation of the intoxicating mix of enormous vocal range and raw emotion that Kelly displays here? What a singer!...can't get enough of this.

Her vocal range, control of her voice and choices she makes are out of this world. Doesn't get better.

Mazzy Star is way UNDER rated. Always been a favorite of mine, and I am always pushing others to give it a listen. Kelly does this cover beautifully. You can tell she loves the song and that makes all the difference between and ordinary performance and an awesome one
