Hope Sandoval and I sat next to each other in the 5th grade...she loved to talk and wanted to know about me...but when I answered her each time, Miss Blake our teacher would get catch me...made me sit out in the Hallway😅.
I was the new girl in school, I never spoke up.
WE stood friends until we each moved away. Im very proud of this girl (we're now 60), and it was 50 years ago. 💞💕

I’m 73 and just found this work of art. Mellow vibe what we all need at times.

I am Gen X and proud! The last generation before the internet and mobile phones. Simpler times and special.

I remember my daughter playing this song during our road trip to Lake Tahoe. Miss my family being young in the 90s. Now, they have their own life and family, and are making new memories🥰

The 90s, before the word changed. When you went to the mall to get your music at a music store, with your real friends.

I played this song by a fire pit in the garden when my mum was terminally ill with cancer. It was a moment of reflection. I think of that exact moment every single time I play this. I miss her terribly.

This is almost 30 years ago, and the song is evergreen, and so is this image of Hope Sandoval. Both will live on like Sinatra.
