I don't know about Rayquaza, Palkia & Creselia. They're not explicitly tied to something outside of earth itself. I could see it, but i'm not sold. Palkia is representative of the 3 dimensions of space, not *space*. And rayquaza lives at the edges of earth, somewhat like a protector / barrier to stop unwanted guests from beyond. They're still more of an incarnation of our atmosphere, thus earth itself and not space, and they have strong ties to wind itself, something earthly. Creselia also is more related to dreams and moonlight than the physical moon itself.<br><br>I also think the ultra beasts would lose all their identity if they also lose their weird typings, you'd need a third type per mon to give it to them.<br><br>I also get the impression that you'd also view cosmic type as a power to manipulate the space itself, as with the room moves. Which would fit well with Palkia.
