Not Simon completely solving everything and not seeing he has already found the 3-5-7 thermo in the lower portion

Should've written the rule as "digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. All white dots are given"😂

Funny and painful calling out the 15, 37, and 59 pairs that existed for many minutes of the video. Great video!

Simon is so uniquely amazing. He can see things in puzzles that elude me until I have exhausted the entire color pallette available to me, just by staring, but on the other hand refuses to pencil mark the thermo quintuples, and then goes within the same sentence from "it's almost symmetrical, except for this thermo" to "but maybe it's only for the late stage". =)

That and the Swordfish detour in the video helped me beat Simon's time by almost 20 minutes, which has happened like five times, if that, in all the years of the channel :D

I think the coloring sometimes makes it harder to spot pairs, triples, etc. Especially when they exist in 2 different colors

I saw this on my feed and came RUNNING to this video. So great to have another Phistomefel puzzle in the universe!

If you remove all the colors and analyze the solution, you'll notice that the entire grid has roping, in both directions. I have a feeling it was somehow connected to the entire idea of this puzzle.

The moment that swordfish came up, I was sure that this was a variant sudoku puzzle with a 5 in the middle of the grid.
