Don Felder, on the double neck guitar, wrote the cord progression for this song, and was friends with Joe Walsh, who wore the red bandana. They practiced and perfected their solo beforehand, as did all background singers, guitarists, and drummer. Eagles have 2 of the biggest selling albums in history and all sing lead. So many hits. ABBA even wrote a song about them titled Eagle.
