Those 49er uniforms are my favorite uniforms that they ever had, I wish they brought those uniforms back that they wore during the Terrell Owens era.

The following week the Ravens absolutely shut down this prolific offense. Very few times has a Mike Shanahan offensive line been manhandled like that.

Rod smith and ed McCaffrey  were my guys.  They were such a fantastic duo. Also cant stand the fact Mile High is no longer around. Of course  the new stadium just had to be named after some corporation.   Remember stadiums and arenas were given names that the fans and city had a connection with? Now its all soulless and corporatized.

Mile high really was a magical place! Our current stadium doesn't have the same aura...

Brian Griese would go on to be Niners QB coach. Ed McCaffrey who did play for the Niners and now his son Christian McCaffrey plays for the Niners. Full Circle.

There was something special and frankly intimidating for opposing teams about Mile High Stadium. Maybe it was the chain link fences and shaking stands and the open end of the stadium. It had character like many of these old parks did. If only the worthless Carolina Panthers didn’t have to roll over to the Raiders 52-9 the next day, Denver could have hosted a divisional round game there against Miami who they destroyed 38-3 in the same spot two years prior and then they would’ve hosted Baltimore in the AFC Championship Game.
