Just three winning records in 33 years tells me all I need to know.

The fact this historically great (pre-1992) organization is now (finally) below. 500 all time as of 2025 is disgusting

I feel for their fans, they cannot celebrate even their good players because as soon as they hit arbitration they are gone for prospects. They will never be good as long as Bob Nutting is alive

Paul Skenes is literally too valuable to trade. The Pirates organization would be getting more value from him by putting real major league talent around Skenes than you would by trading him. They’re going to trade him and get nothing in return.

Pittsburgh native here, and I'm not exaggerating at all when I say Bob Nutting is by far the most hated man in the city. It's such a shame what's happened to the Pirates, and we have such a beautiful ballpark, just give us a decent team and we will fill those stands.

As a lifelong Pirates fan nothing we do even remotely bothers Nuttball. MLB lets this shit happen with several owners who shouldn't even own a team, but here we are. Nutting ONLY cares about his bank account and NOTHING else. Skenes and others will leave and will leave soon. We all know this and won't be mad at Skenes or any player. One day Nutting won't own the team anymore........

I was there for 2025's Home Opener. I was involved in those chants. Thank you for explaining how Purates fans have felt for the longest time.

Mario Lemuex tried to purchase the team and Mark Cuban tried to purchase the team and Both were turned down 👇. The Clemente family went and met with this guy and pleaded with him to put a winning team on the field!!!

The pirates have been “rebuilding” since the 1990s. The playoff appearances in the 2010s were not intentional. They were a fluke that happened by cobbling together a random group of guys that somehow made a somewhat competitive team. They then promptly began trading them all away.
