  When I was younger I also worked in a restaurant, &nbsp;not only do you meet a lot of people as customers, but other staff members friends and family often hang out or round, picking people up and whatnot. Also delivery drivers and men coming in and out of the back of the restaurant &nbsp;often strike up friendly banter and build relationships with the staff. Theres probably 20 people I can think of that I seen on a regular basis that I have never/ would never mention to my family because the relationships are so mundane and day to day. Not unless they crossed a major line or did something super out of the ordinary. &nbsp;<br><br>If I was the detective, I&apos;d be asking all the people at the restaurant how did you get to work? Did any friends ever visit you at work? &nbsp;Ect. Because this sounds like an acquaintance she knew but obviously not well enough to mention to friends and family.

  Her comment &quot;Why are you here?&quot; makes me think of when I was younger. A guy I sort of grew up knowing had a lifelong crush on me and multiple odd things had happened with him throughout my life, but everyone always laughed it off, but he creeped me out. He showed up at my home a couple of different times out of the blue, even when I lived somewhere that he only knew the city I lived in, no one had told him my address, and it wasn&apos;t near where he lived. My response every time it happened was, &quot;What are you doing here?&quot; He did it when I got engaged, and he also did it when I was pregnant with my first child. So her having recently been engaged could have been a trigger for someone like that too, a stalkery acquaintance, maybe even someone she grew up around.

  She absolutely knew her killer, in my opinion. She said, “what are you doing here?” Not, “who are you?” That to me suggests someone she didn’t necessarily want to see, but definitely knew. Maybe she had a silent stalker? Idk… but she knew the killer. 💔

  I worked in the same area where her car was found last year. They still have the memorial under the bridge. Everyone in the area knows the story. Rumors are that she knew the person. The area no longer looks the way it did in that video. It’s being developed and built on right now. I hope someone saw something and says something. I wish the PD would release those texts.

  I agree that “what are you doing here” most likely means she knew the person. If someone random walked into my apartment, I don’t think my first words to them would be “what are you doing here?” but instead would be “who the fuck are you?”

  It never ceases to amaze me how someone, who doesn&apos;t lead a dangerous lifestyle and is going on with their normal day, can be murdered and lose their life just like that. And &nbsp;the killer is never apprehended 😢

  My mother lived a few miles from there and I can tell you that’s someone from that area. They knew those back roads most definitely!

  Great coverage, Derrick! As a family member of an unsolved murder, I am so inspired by Amber&apos;s family&apos;s mission. If they continue to push for mandatory genealogical testing, so many cases will be solved. &nbsp;❤

  I’m curious what apartment complex this is. I lived in Myrtle and had a very extreme stalker in 2014 that the police ended up never being able to find. Long story but he wore a wolf mask and harassed me about repenting for my sins. I swore up and down it was this guy I met from tinder who was totally different from his profile. He had gotten brain damage in an accident and his family casted him to live in an apartment complex in Myrtle. First time meeting him in person I had a sickening gut feeling - i had never experienced before. I locked myself in a room in his apartment until my roommate could get me. Idk why but coming across this case I instantly thought about him. He had an anger that ever since his brain damage women and his family didn’t take him seriously.
