  I have used this (JPC-12) and the JPC-7 for the last 18 months whenever I go camping, I find they work very well.

  The initial setup takes a minute. But yea, once you figure out where to mark it. SUPER SIMPLE! And consistent.

  Welcome to the club Mike!  I have been singing the praises of this antenna for a couple years.  I make a guy rope attachment for it as well.    I have also stacked another coil on it for 80 meters and added a 2nd set of ground radials to see what it would do on field day.   Amazingly it worked!

  We activated our first SOTA in the Sierra Nevada mountains with this antenna. Great antenna. Easy set up, fits great in a backpack. Made a lot of east coast contacts

  i wrap the grnd wires round and old spool the size of a cotton bobbin, works a treat keeps em neat.

  Ever since I got this a few months back, I stopped using my Buddipole. The adjustment of the coil was the game changer for me.   Like you said, the radials need to be upgraded.  I replaced with silicone 20 AWG wire to avoid those tangles.  I had very little expectation and this blew my mind away.   Now thinking of getting the add on kit for dipole config.  The only thing that sucks is that it uses M10 thread, but it is not the end of the world.

  Finally the voice translation of your videos!!! I love this thing! <br>That antenna is adorable I have been using it for a few years, both in the 12 and 7 rigid dipole versions, I also used it a lot at home with the 100w of my radio without any problem! It gave me so many dx!!!

  I&apos;m glad to see you check this out. It has been in my Amazon shopping cart &quot;saved for later&quot; for over a year. &nbsp;I&apos;ve been holding out for Wolf River Coils, but I think they are out of commission due to health. &nbsp;I&apos;m considering this one. &nbsp;<br><br>As for the measurements, I saw someone tie a string to the tip of the antenna with tape or other flags on the string for each frequency he wanted to operate on. The flags don&apos;t wipe off with use. &nbsp;<br><br>Thank you for showing it to us.

  Indeed - I discovered the JPC12 a year ago and it&apos;s my GO TO POTA antenna replacing the EFHW wire I previously used. &nbsp;I have a Buddistick, but always found that way way way too fiddly to tune with the single counterpoise wire. &nbsp;The JPC12 ground spike, ground wire attachment and ease of tuning with the slider coil contact - it&apos;s a winner. &nbsp;Last summer I made my first POTA DX contact from Waukesha WI into France. &nbsp;It travels so well too - packs up compact and fits neatly in the checked suitcase for the flights. &nbsp;Great video, thanks de AB1DQ.
