  PC and Switch 2 is all a gamer needs really. <br>That being said, building a strong enough PC current day is extremely expensive and then also getting a Switch 2 on top of that is...difficult<br><br>I&apos;m so lucky I built my PC before any of the price hikes so I was actually able to afford a Switch 2

  Reminder that with gog, you can burn your games on dvds and lend them, pass them around. Put them in whatever computer you want and always use it offline no matter if steam one day closes down

  I was one of the bitter Switch 2 haters when it first came out. But then I picked one up, started playing DK Bananza and realized I was just being dumb. Nintendo is still putting out fun games that you can get lost in for hours that don&apos;t require an online connection or a 20GB update to play. I picked up Splatoon Raiders recently and I&apos;m blown away by how polished and fun it is for a game I honestly had low expectations for going in. And again, it&apos;s all on the cartridge with no micro-transaction BS as part of the package. The older I get, Nintendo feels like the only console company left who respects the fact that when I pick up my console to play, that&apos;s exactly what I want to do. Play my game and nothing more. The game that I own on a physical cartridge in full.

  Im glad i grew up in the 90s when video games were fun and all hard copies..<br>Im so sorry for the gamers who are growing up now 👀.

  I agree with you. Their retail presence is strong and they are smart to appreciate that. <br><br>They have monopolized the entire video game aisle at every major retailer. And that happened because Sony and MS are more greedy than they are perceptive. <br><br>Nintendo has been playing the long game. Now they are mostly alone in every Walmart, Target, etc. <br><br>Consoles need presence. This isn’t PC gaming. I don’t think they will ever give up physical games. The key cards were pushed to publishers so that the retail space could have some sort of cartridge. And now they are making different size carts.<br><br>Nintendo doesn’t make statements against other companies. They are mostly about action. This tracks.
