Beautifully told, professionally directed and created, this is a wonderful biography of a composer whose music has long fascinated me, which I’ve performed on stage many times, but whose history and personality have largely been hidden from me, even when reading biographic blurbs on record albums, in music history books, and such. I sought to know him through the music itself, and that was certainly productive, but it left questions that had been unanswered until this day, watching this video by Susan Waterfall. Thank you, Ms. Waterfall, for this assiduously researched and constructed biopic. I can’t help but believe that this will reinforce the music in ways I haven’t yet discovered.

Just discovered your channel Susan. What a beautiful way to document music, pictures and a biography. This made me love Ravel's music even more, all his struggles, losses definitely shaped him and his art. A couple tears built in my eyes at the end when you said "Thank you for the beautiful music Maurizio!" Beautiful. Superb. Thank you Susan.

Bouleversant.
