  Just got my 1993 1210’s out after 20 years in storage and YouTube has been a godsend for me having a go at servicing them for myself! So big thanks to everyone like you doing videos like this👍<br>I would like to point out though that the e-clip on the arm lock is definitely there for a reason! That reason is that it stops you from completely unscrewing the tone arm when adjusting the height from the top of the deck. And the number ring that you glued on needs to be in the right place or else it won’t line up with the markings for the height. But like you said in the video, you hadn’t done it before so that’s just trial and error I suppose.<br>Mine are still working and are very usable although there are a few niggles I want to sort out (such a shame they’re discontinued and any spares are ludicrously priced)! So I’ll keep scouring the internet to keep them in action, because in my opinion these are the absolute GOAT and really are built like tanks and I want to keep mine going as long as possible👌<br>So to you and all the others giving advice on these, keep up the good work👍

  I bought a brand new SL1200GR and the lift doesn&apos;t work, these turntables are really crap and the build quality at Technics really leaves something to be desired.

  Tengo un problema con una Technics 1200, no enciende el led verde con el pitch en punto cero. Alguna idea cual puede ser el problema y como identificarlo? Ya comprobe que el led no está quemado y realice la limpieza del slider.

  when your trying to turn the bases of the tonearm height adjuster it helps if you move the silver lock off first

  I find that by using deoxit via nozzle it squirts out so much more than you need. I squirt a few drops into a small cup and apply it with a tiny brush. That’s from the time when it was hard to get in Canada.

  I don&apos;t like it when a technics 1200 mk2 shows up in poor condition or not working.<br><br>that only says one thing... bad owner who didn&apos;t appreciate that he had a beautiful turntable.<br><br><br>this usually happens when the people who get it, didn&apos;t even have to make an effort in life to have one.
