  I’ve got 38 years on a pair mark 2.  Made back  in 1982.  Still going strong

  The mk7 can play at 78 and reverse play by setting the switches under the platter.  You can also adjust the brake and torque the same way

  What was also proven here was the 30+ year old MK2 can easily keep up and match the performance of a fresh out the box MK7. The hinge holders on the MK2 are also removable with 2 small screws to achieve the flush look to the mixer!

  Using a pair of MK7s for almost  2  year can honestly say that mixing ånd beat matching is a bliss with these..Pich control is very accurate ..

  I don&apos;t think back in the 70s Technics would realize they have created the most legendary iconic turntable.<br>For the home to the clubs basic over engineered.<br><br>This has been the footprint for all other decks cdj&apos;s midi controllers for years after.

  I still have my pair of SL1200mk2s; I feel so lucky to own these legendary decks; the standard by which all other have been judged. &nbsp;I have just picked up a Reloop RP7000mk2 for scratching in ultrapitch, but I will never give up my Technics! &nbsp;Especially considering what they go for nowadays!!! &nbsp;Analog pitch control ftw!!!🙌🏻

  i mean the red light and reliable pitch correction is what in the end made it to be the iconic dj turntable it is. it even firstly made it possible to really synch two kind of tracks because of these functions

  My main issue is the weight you really need a solid heavy turntable and the light weight MK7 really really throws me off because I really want a technique but don&apos;t want to spend $4000 for the G.
