14:10 They actually explain this in the books! When you morph, your body repairs any damage in the process of becoming the animal/human. So, the kids do get into horrific situations where they get maimed and dismembered, but they do so with the knowledge that they can survive as long as they have enough time to morph

I remember the book where they gave an ant the ability to morph and as it morphs into a human it just starts screaming cuz it was cut from the hive mind and gained awareness

Also that was James Gandolfini who's best know to play Tony Saproano from The Sopranos. Real good show, binge worthy.

I’m pretty sure the books are way more brutal. One of the kids ends up getting stuck as a hawk or falcon for eternity and another one just seemed to be disliked by the author, ‘cause he was regularly disfigured or mutilated in his animal form

6:10 "Mom-tuition" where magically my mom knew exactly where I put any of my stuff without seeing me put it there but also had no clue where her shopping list, checkbook, keys, or phone was. An absolute oracle that can divine the location of any item unless its something of hers.

Also when I would look absolutely everywhere for something and not want to ask her for help because I knew she would find it immediately and then think I didn't even try. I DID TRY MOM, I'M JUST DUMB

Ah yes, the Animorphs book covers. If you’ve not read the books, you’ve at least seen the cover art for them. They were weird, creepy yet also creative. You couldn’t help but grab the book and see what was inside.

As someone who adored the books as a kid, the show did them no justice. The books were surprisingly dark and gritty. By age seventeen years old, these teens committed a lot of war crimes. Including genocide. It was a WILD series.

Great reaction as always Rainbow! I always am happy to see your videos in my feed. I hope some day I can make one of your live streams.

The show DID have a banger opening them though.

One thing I love when RS or any other Vtuber who reacts to Jontron is that they'll say something that corresponds to the video and Jon will confirm that and it's like they share the same wave length or say they didn't pre watch 😂
