  My wife and I were married in Kathmandu in 1975. I worked at the American Embassy and she was a teacher at St. Mary’s School for Girls. We were a couple matched in heaven. We were the happiest couple alive for 32 years until her untimely death. Kathmandu was our favorite city on earth! We departed Nepal the day after the last Coronation of King &nbsp;Birendra to the throne. Thank you for sharing your story that paralleled my own in that Himalayan kingdom.

  Dude, she&apos;s an amazing girl... really a good girl. Do yourselves a favor.. and keep her in Nepal.. live in Nepal together. It will preserve her good qualities and she won&apos;t be tainted by foreign cultures that don&apos;t value marriage.

  I lived in Kathmandu for 4 years and I am in love with the country and people. And the Himalayas always shining in the sky. It was nice to see so many changes in the city after 35 years. Thank you for good memories.
