  I created this video 1100 days ago, and I poured all my love, a month of editing, everything I had into creating this video. Yet almost nobody watched it... <br><br>So to come back to this video 1100 days later and to see that 268,000 people have suddenly viewed it, with so many nice comments, really is special and means a lot to me!<br><br>And as many of you were asking, here are a few updates:<br><br>I&apos;m still together with Mavi, and we&apos;re about to be 7 years together in like a week. We&apos;re still crazy happy. And we actually made a video of five lessons we learned when we dated for five years that&apos;s somewhere on my channel. <br><br>Apart from that, because I tried so hard on YouTube and nobody was watching my videos, I actually focused more on helping people present better &amp; more confidently. <br><br>So I built a presentation skills company called <a href="http://completepresenter.com/">CompletePresenter.com</a>, where you can learn from the world&apos;s best speakers. It&apos;s crazy to think that if this video would have blown up already 1100 days ago, I might be doing something different. <br><br>Yet, I&apos;m actually grateful, because it means so much to me to help people present more confidently, more clearly, and more compellingly.

  I did this with Japanese. But to surprise my Dutch wife who doesnt speak a word of Japanese. And it took me 2 years. Still worth the reaction 😂😂

  When I met my Polish wife in 1991, she didn&apos;t speak German and I didn&apos;t speak Polish. She learned German very quickly in an adult education course. <br> <br>But I secretly learned Polish so I could understand what the Polish family thought and said about me. I really just wanted to know if I was accepted. My wife knew nothing of my efforts. During a visit at Christmas 1992, I started speaking Polish with the Polish family—not perfectly, but at least at a level comparable to a toddler. They were absolutely thrilled, and it led to 35 wonderful years of marriage and two children. Sadly, my Gosia passed away last year at the young age of 55. This is very hard for us as a family.
