I've been working as Missing Marines since 2011.

I've written posts, articles, journal features, cover stories, and books about these cases. Given interviews, presentations, and podcast appearances. Even played a key role in identifying some of them.

You brought Bill Genaust back to life for 22 minutes.

Let's get this done and see him home to his people.

Thank you for posting "No AI" in the title. I'm tired of fake accents, fake war scenes and AI generated stories. I appreciate the time, effort and research you put forth to make this video focusing on a missing Marine who has the possibility of being located and coming home. Also "thank you" to Vaer watches for their classy sponsorship.

My cousin, CPL James Hagstrom, was killed in action on Hill 362A. He was in the 3rd Platoon, Company E, 2/28 Marines. It was this platoon that raised the first US flag on Mount Suribachi.

This is very surreal to me. My first MOS as a young Marine was journalist. To think all these years later, this young man would be the center of all this attention is heartwarming. I never thought my job would ever have any meaning or impact, so I changed MOS. Thank you from all my brother and sister Marines, and from the men and women who bring these images to the public eye.

I served in the Marines from 78-85, and I have long been aware of the story of Bill Genaust. With all my heart I hope his remains are eventually recovered. I had a cousin on Iwo with I Company, 3rd battalion, 25th Marines. He stepped on a landmine on March 15th, precisely one day before the island was declared secure. Thanks be to God his body was recovered and returned home. No man wants to be left in an unmarked grave, on foreign soil.

Semper Fidelis for what appears to be exceptional research on the subject of the late Bill Genaust's remains. You've made an excellent case and provided a first-class presentation here on You Tube. Thank you very much for your dedicated work in researching Sergeant Genaust and the Battle for Iwo Jima. Andy McKane, 16 August 2026, Maunaloa, Moloaki, Hawaii.
