Nick I upgraded to ODE GEN 2, here in lovely Scotland. I'm 70 years old and have always used Bialetti Moka, and ground my own fresh roasted quite dark beans.

I waited six weeks to open my product, I was not confident. I set up, and had my neighbour help me (sight problem). Silly.

This morning, a new platitude, ground my 34g beans, for a 6 cup Moka-which is really 3 small cups-a new horizon!

Superb coffee, and a more intense flavour. I've been drinking coffee 50 years. Wow, what a change from Maxwell House supermarket grinder- remember those?- in a 1952 Revere Ware percolator.

My late mother passed the RW copper bottom set to my sister. Were they built too well!

I'm well impressed with your products, YouTube vids, and the beard explanation.

Steven
Edinburgh, UK

I’m scratching my head as to why there is an espresso machine sitting next to Nick when he tells us over and over again in the video that the Ode is not for Espresso.

I love the slide mug! It’s perfectly designed and leak-proof - thank you!

I gave an Ode Gen 2 and I am very satisfied. Yesterday for the first time the grinding discs cleaned, was OK. Then I removed the part to calibrate the machine. That also works well. The only lack - and that is annoying - are the 4 screws. too small, too soft, too low and difficult to reach. I hope Ode 3 will fix this. thank you! anyway the Ode is great !

Bought the Ode Gen 2 a couple of weeks ago. This is my first real coffee grinder and it's been a fun experience. Thanks for your work!

That was an excellent run down on the burrs.

I think that you can probably count with the fingers of one hand the number of people that can tell the difference between coffee ground with these burrs and one ground with those burrs

I bought an ode grinder for $400 dollars and the motor died after using twice a day for two years. 1 year warranty. Fellow did not offer parts to fix or repair. Best they could do was 10% off another expensive grinder of theirs. I have a Baratza that tastes just as good- much better in fact when everytime I look at the broken fellow I think of how they got $400 out of me for a 2 year grinder. The Baratza has lasted me seven years and I can buy parts to easily fix, so tbh that alone makes me wayyy happier everytime I use it!! Fellow is hype imo and a good way to send your money to a company overcharging you for poorer quality than other brands.

Can you make an updated grind size sticker for the lid for those that upgraded to the Ode 2 burrs in the Ode 1 body?

Just ordered a gen 2, I’m only making 2-4 cups a day so it’s probably overkill but I was tired of death gripping my varia hand grinder

Awesome job. This grinder is great, and it replaced my old Rocky grinder. I actually enjoy its geared for pour over because it makes a great cup. Quiet, and fast operation
