  I don’t normally post things like this, but Dolly Parton was different. ❤️🕊️ Having recently traveled to Tennessee to visit the new travel stop she helped bring to life made this hit a little differently.<br><br>Beyond her incredible talent, I always admired her humanity, empathy, values, and generosity. From providing free books to millions of children to supporting education, disaster relief, and medical research, she consistently used her success to help others.<br><br>In a world where greed can so easily overshadow humanity, Dolly chose people.<br><br>Her music made her an icon, but her heart made her unforgettable. Rest peacefully, Dolly Parton. ❤️

  The laundry area was named The Wishy Washy. Cute. That’s the name of the laundromat she met her husband in many years ago. Dolly is a true legend.

  I swear, every Dolly product and business has a special touch. You can tell she wanted everything associated with her name to be quality and carried out with care. Dolly, the world misses you so dearly....❤

  In her autobiography, Parton says that as a child she had a fascination with anything that flew. Butterflies were her favorite. Hummingbirds and fireflies also caught her eye. She says she probably liked flying insects and animals because she envied their freedom.

  Just looked it up, YES you can stay overnight in the parking lot of Dolly&apos;s Travel Stop. It&apos;s so nice since so many places are closing to van, bus and car-lifers that Dolly Parten has made a place welcoming them.

  Please know that Dolly Parton did not build the truckstop, it was already a truckstop, called the Tennessee, which she purchased and renovated.
