My aunt and her sisters have worked at Dollywood for nearly 40 years. They’ve met Dolly many times and they are devastated that she is gone. Dolly created jobs, gave generously to charity, helped local people during natural disasters, and brought our children books to support literacy. It is so hard to believe she’s gone. We here in East Tennessee are not OK.

Her kindness and generosity is so rare. Over 300 million books for children under age 5 across the world. She helped so many people going through tragedies as well. She will be missed

When the TN and NC mountains were devastated by hurricane Helene a few years ago, Dolly was one of the first people to step up and help. She regularly put her money where her mouth/values were. She helped millions of people over the years and her passing is a true loss to the world as she didnt just help her fellow Americans but people around the world. Heck Buckinham Palace paid tribute to her on hearing of the news.

She was literally an angel who cared about all kinds of people. It was patriotism and REAL Christian kindness; something you don't see in America anymore.

Dolly meant everything to us Americans. Aside from having a wonderful talent, she was a beacon of light, love, acceptance, charity, humor and faith. Thank you two for posting and making me smile for the first time since I heard the news. Bless you, sweet Nicola and Andrew ❤🦋

Dolly was not only an attractive lady with a great personality but also entertainer, prolific song writer and actress and a very successful business woman who’s generosity was beyond compare.
