So happy to see a video on my game :)
Some minor rules corrections:
a) Defenders rolling the fortress die also cancel all their Rout results.
b) You never HAVE to play any event cards - The card just list when the event can be played.

Good job with playing it solo with the four hands, that's a lot to keep track of and filming it at the same time. Soon you will be soloing a six player game of Heere I Stand.

Interesting gameplay. The game system is fast und fun. I have played Vikings 878 and Plains Indian War, which share the same basic mechanics. I am still not sure if i want a third game of this kind of games but the theme is a big selling point for me.

Really surprised at the effect of mixing forces in combat - seems like a significant benefit rather than the penalty I might have expected.

I am excited about all those games about the thirty years war. But, often to my own detriment, i am such a sucker for aesthetics. Aaaaand... come on! Look at Baltic Empires on Brian Asklevs side, or Imperial Elegy on VUCAs side. Both such beautiful productions. Especially Baltic Empires.
What happend here??? The map 😱 😱😱
Not that it is just unaesthetic, it is also geographically wrong. Which is embarassing, since VUCA is a german company. And they already fixed even worse geographical errors from an earlier version and still it is very unaccurate.
I hope Cuius Regio has good gameplay, since, to me, it is the clear winner regarding the looks.
