  Correction: I’m happy to report that the Fiio M33 R2R also offers the ability to disable the side buttons when the screen is off by navigating to Settings>Global>Key-lock Settings.

  I expect that Apos publishes “ in stock “ to get the purchaser to buy the product. But possibly don’t want to have an abundance of stock that they may not be able to sell. So most likely it’s safer for them to do it the way they did.  Imagine having a stock of 50 items then discover they can’t sell 50% of them. Sure they could have been more open and understanding with you as a customer.

  Just bough mine yesterday and paired it with my CA Stellar Horizons. The M33 buttons can be disabled when the screen is dark.

  I agree that the M33 standby battery life is not so great.  And that comes with a problem… Spotify has a bug where it will fail to recognize an SD card when the M33 powers on from fully off, moving your whole offline library to  internal storage.  The workaround that I found was to simply put the M33 into standby mode - this results in Spotify working fine with the SD card once powered back on from Standby.  But since the M33 standby battery life is poor this workaround has limitations.  Yes, this is a Spotify bug and not an M33 bug, but the M33 standby battery life makes it worse.

  This is a timely video! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I’m currently trying to make a purchase decision between these two DAPs myself. I’m looking to replace my DX340 with something more portable. Do you mind if I have a chat with you around your experience with both devices? I’ve been basing a lot of my ideas about the DX270 on the DX340, as far as software experience, Mango Player and physical controls. And on that front, the M33 wins hands down for me. It’s the sonics I wish to get sorted out now.<br><br>I have 3 IEMs in my collection I’d like to find high synergistic pairing for: Canpur CP74e, Elysian Apostle ‘26 and Meze ASTRU. The Astru is my main concern with the M33, based on how warm it already is on its own.

  I&apos;ve never bought from Apos, but I think they are technically right. In stock means they can ship it to you. Unless they specify they can ship it domestically, they have the right to ship from Mars, if they meet the expected shipping days.

  I own the DX270, and it <b>does</b> have EQ; you&apos;re kidding yourself by claiming the FiiO is better, but deep down you know the iBasso DX270 is superior.<br>You just wanted to make a different kind of video, but I think it backfired.
