  I’ve just installed the AMP18 module in my iBasso DX340, and I have to say I’m genuinely impressed.<br><br>The sound is incredibly full, powerful, and controlled — yet at the same time smooth and effortless. There’s more body and depth compared to the other modules I’ve used, but without losing detail or resolution. The presentation feels more organic and cohesive, with a very natural flow to the music.<br><br>With planars especially, the authority and headroom are outstanding. It sounds dynamic, spacious, and extremely engaging — easily one of the most impressive upgrades I’ve experienced with a modular DAP system.<br><br>Really remarkable performance from iBasso.❤️

  I think everyone is waiting for the M33 R2R to be reviewed and compared with the DX270. R2R DACs as stand alone or integrated into DAPs seem to be flavour of the month at the moment. I would really like an M23 v M33 and a DX260 v DX270 for comparison and then face off the M33 v DX270...that would be an epic video...for the mid level R2R DAP title and comparing each to their sigma DAP alternative within the FIIO and IBASSO ranges 😁

  Cayin N6iii has 4,600mah more battery capacity. The impressive part is the DX270 published battery operation is quite good, this needs to be verified. What puzzles is why not increase to 6GB. it makes a lot of difference on the UI experience.

  Could someone please tell me which DAP is more suitable for a metal/rock/jazz and which one delivers better speed, dynamics, punch and emotions when listening to rock/metal — DX260MK2 or DX270?<br><br><br>Are there people here who have compared both of DAPs?<br><br><br>I would also like to know, in terms of maximum detail retrieval and resolution, would the DX260MK2 be better than the DX270?

  Considering I just picked up the Final D7000... If I go to the DAP route, the Ibasso &nbsp;is pretty much a no-brainer. Even though I&apos;m coming from a Cayin N8ii &amp; like their house sound, the new model just doesn&apos;t have enough power for low sensitivity planars with ANY of the modules &nbsp;:(

  Maybe my ears are more sensitive, but I cannot listen to any device in high gain, due to the audible distortion it introduces, even with my iBasso DX180. It was that way with car amps back in the 80&apos;s as well. I look for low gain power specs when I choose my devices. Thanks for a great review! 👍🏻🎼✨
