  regarding the laundry bucket. it's not a laundry bucket. we call it a basin and it's usually a dedicated container for ingredients when we're doing mass cooking for festivals or celebrations. a household/family usually have more than 1.

  We Malaysian sometimes use laundry bucket for cooking only, we not use it for real laundry 😅

  Those large pails/basins are very cheap, it's normal to have multiple of those, and we always use a separate pail for food and laundry, so don't worry about clothes smelling like curry

  I can eat this chicken with plain white rice, no sauce, no gravy, no anything. It tastes unbelievably good. And it doesn't make me bloated. I usually eat this with nasi lemak. Flavor bomb inside the mouth

  I'm shocked, I was sooo surprised that a chef had never seen curry leaves before in person. I'm in the UK and use curry leaves regularly, they are great for curries, they create a lovely base texture/taste when fried, and yes the stems soften and are fine to eat fried.

  Even though I've not had Malyasian fried chicken myself, I do make Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken, which is fried with basil leaves.  The leaves will become little crispy shards, stem and all.  They add to the texture and deliver a burst of aroma when you bite into them.   I'd imagine these do something similar.

  Jamie’s fired chicken would be diced chicken breast covered in flour and chili jam mix, then shallow fired in olive oil until it reaches dried out perfection.

  I still chuckle that uncle roger only had minor nitpicks for this video, like the blender thing, that when the original channel commented it was joking about getting a bigger blender. and was flooded with positivity. also that he didn&apos;t get the title of uncle, because he already has a higher title, so uncle roger didn&apos;t want to demote him
