These 7 Beginner Fish Cleans Your Aquarium Forever!

🔗 Save $1,400 A Year with My Complete Japanese Aquarium-Saving Methods I teach: https://isamuyoshida.com You are standing at the glass again with a scraper in your hand and your sleeve soaked to the elbow, doing a job that seven living animals would do for you for free. They do it better than you can, in the crevices your hand will never reach, on the surfaces you cannot even see, while you are asleep. I have not scrubbed algae off glass in longer than I can remember, and not because my tanks are cleaner than yours. It is because I stopped hiring myself for work that the right cleanup crew does around the clock. Here are the seven best cleaners you can put in a freshwater aquarium, counted down from the seventh to the single best one I know. And number one is not the rarest and not the most expensive. It is the one I would put in almost any tank, in almost any home, kept by almost anyone. CREDIT: Fresh Flow Aquatics In this video: ✓ The crevice scavenger that reaches the rotting food nothing else can get to, and why buying a single one is the mistake that makes it vanish ✓ The fish that genuinely eats black brush algae, and the aggression rumour that has cost it its reputation for no honest reason ✓ The tiny cleaner that breeds into an army on its own, and the one tankmate that guarantees your colony never grows ✓ The closest thing to free labour in this hobby, and the snail that cannot physically overrun your tank ✓ The bottom worker that keeps your substrate from packing into dead, airless pockets while it feeds ✓ The glass cleaning powerhouse small enough for a thirty gallon, and the one condition it will not forgive ✓ Why the best cleaner of all is the one you can keep alive on purpose when the algae runs out ✓ The bonus snail that cleans the part of your tank you cannot see at all An important word of care: a cleanup crew is not a rescue. Put any of these seven into a tank that is already overrun, overfed, and out of balance and you will not clean the tank, you will kill the animal. These are livestock, not machines. Fix the feeding and the balance first, then add the cleaner. Match the animal to your real tank size, temperature, flow, and tankmates, acclimate it slowly, and never add anything to an uncycled tank. I keep fish, I am not a veterinarian. Tell me in the comments: which of these seven is already in your tank, and which one are you adding after this video? Next week I am giving the almond leaf its full video. It is the free dead leaf that prevents disease the way the medication aisle never wanted you to know about. My grandfather never cleaned the stone basin behind his house in Niigata. He chose the right animals once, and then he watched the fish for sixty years. He never owned a scraper. He never needed one. Neither do you. #Aquarium #Aquascaping #PlantedTank #AlgaeEater #CleanupCrew #BristlenosePleco #Corydoras #CherryShrimp #Fishkeeping #FreshwaterAquarium #ClearWater #IsamuYoshida
