All I can say is, outstanding. Almost 3 hours of the history of an almost unknown series of events just flew by. Mr. Cox is a great storyteller and historian.

Jeff has provided a brutally frank, and sometimes amusing, account of this disastrous period of the War in the Pacific. Fantastic.

Spellbinding, sober and funny telling of a dark few months for the Allies by Mr Cox. Definitely have him back on WW2TV.

So glad that I could see this live! So many have never even heard of the Battle of Java Sea and the events leading up to it. Jeffery Cox does a brilliant job of bringing this story to life in an exciting style. I look forward to reading hid book about it. Thank you Paul for indulging us in what was a lengthy presentation. It might have gone on a bit long for some, but I think that most viewers appreciated the insights gained. Great work to you and our esteemed Author! :_Salute:

I finally had a chance to see the video from start to finish. Well done to WW2TV and Jeffrey Cox for the presentation. The Battle of the Java Sea is one that I've been interested in for over a decade now. It's what led to me to look into the stories of the Clemson class destroyers and the crews on them. Very underdog ships, doing the best they could with what they had. The tale of the Edsall and her crew is as heroic as it is tragic. I read, "Rising Sun, Falling Skies," a few years ago. I have Mr. Cox's other two book in my library. They are on the "To be read" list as well. Again, well done to the both of you. :)

Wow what a captivating and entertaining program. The level of detail is superb. This is going to require another viewing to take all this in. Very disappointing on how inept our naval forces appeared to be in this engagement. I hope you bring Jeffrey back on again, although I suspect I will be as disappointed in the Allied navy in the Guadalcanal campaign as I was in this engagement. Great program. Thanks Paul!!!

Watching this for a second time after enjoying Devil's Fire Southern Cross yesterday. So much information that I missed the first time. The time flew by- I've enjoyed every episode that you have had Mr. Cox on. Great work!
